Salem, Massachusetts has become the first city in the Northeastern U.S. to partner with UNICEF USA under its Child Friendly Cities Initiative. The city and UNICEF will work together over the next several years to assess child welfare, amplify youth engagement, and craft policy changes centered on children and families.
